JOB DESCRIPTION We are searching for an entry-level candidate to join our Biotech manufacturing team to support efforts in producing EUA-approved Covid-19 antigen tests and other InBios products. No college degree necessary. This position is ideal for someone who wants to start out working in a biotech laboratory/manufacturing environment, learn industry standard good manufacturing practices (GMP), is ready to learn new skills and procedures and is comfortable working with machines and with your hands. Manufacturing Assistants are responsible for assembly and/or packaging activities, such as loading machines, checking materials, pouching, and inspecting different aspects of assembled devices. Complete on-the-job training is provided. Experience and knowledge needed to be successful in this position *Enjoys working with a team and individually *Strong attention to detail *Easily adaptable to changing priorities *Ability to adhere to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) regulations (training provided) *Comfortable with Microsoft Word and Excel. *Good written and verbal communication (English language) skills. Job duties include *Assembling large-scale diagnostic tests in a low humidity controlled dry room within a GMP-controlled laboratory setting. *Ability to follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) per GMP and modify/initiate SOPs for manufacturing processes. *Operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining lab equipment and machinery. *Assisting with packaging and shipping of finished product. *Cleaning and maintaining laboratory environment. Work environment information Position responsibilities include work in a Biosafety Level 2 lab (BSL-2) and a humidity-controlled environment. This position requires an ability to lift up to 30lbs with assistance. Wage/Benefits information Wage: $18 - 20/per hour. Benefits include medical, dental, and 401(k).
