*DUTIES: *Manage environmental related programs and projects within the Holland America Group. Manage water discharges, air emissions, solid waste, regulatory reporting, permitting and analysis in support of 32 cruise ships. Coordinating and management of shipboard and shore-based programs including the support of audit compliance and emergency response activities. Ensure specific portions of the Environmental Management System (EMS) for Holland America Group are being adhered.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Business Administration, Management, Environmental Science aor closely related field. Minimum of three (3) years' experience in job or related environmental management or risk management position. Experience must include cruise industry experience and project management experience. Must have knowledge of classification society, flag state, port state, international shipping rules and database management. Remote work from any state where the company is a registered employer, including: AK, AZ, CA, CO, CT, DC, FL, GA, ID, IL, IN, IA, KS, KY, LA, ME, MD, MA, MI, MO, MT, NV, NJ, NM, NY, NC, ND, OH, OR, PA, RI, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA and WI. Travel 25%. $152,000 - $162,000.
