The Role

The Manager Critical Infrastructure Tech Support is responsible for the operation and maintenance of all critical infrastructure within the Lumen technical facilities throughout North America. This includes management of a team of Engineers. This position will lead a team whose responsibility is Tiers 1, 2 and 3 support of critical infrastructure with a goal of avoiding outages, reducing outage times and increasing customer satisfaction.

Work Location

This is a remote position in one of the following markets: Seattle, Denver, Dallas, Houston, Miami, Boston, DC, New Jersey, or Phoenix.

The Main Responsibilities

  • Establish operational objectives and work plans

  • Provide superior leadership, including the ability to identify key business drivers, influencing others to ensure all installation and maintenance functions are performed to meet and exceed customer expectations and company objectives

  • Budget development and accountability for the designated area of responsibility, as well as for the direct leadership and development of a team of supervisors, career professionals and non-exempt associates

  • Manages the operations of a specified geographical area, this includes but is not limited to the management of all field supervisors and technical employees

  • Ensure that installation and maintenance service levels are maintained, the operating and equipment budget is created and administered, and product sales are maintained

What We Look For in a Candidate

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience supporting critical infrastructure.

  • Typically, with 5-7 years related experience and 1+ year previous supervisory/leadership experience preferred.

  • Experience with AC/DC power and/or Mechanical Systems is preferred.

Compensation

The starting salary for this role differs based on the employee's primary work location. Employees typically do not start at the top of the range, though compensation depends on each individual's qualifications.

Location Based Pay Ranges

$80510 - $107340 in these states: AR, ID, KY, LA, ME, MS, NE, SC, and SD.

$84740 - $112980 in these states: AZ, AL, FL, GA, IN, IA, KS, MO, MT, NM, ND, OH, OK, PA, TN, UT, VT, WV, WI, and WY.

$88980 - $118630 in these states: CO, HI, MI, MN, NV, NH, NC, OR, and RI.

$93210 - $124280 in these states: AK, CA, CT, DE, DC, IL, MD, MA, NJ, NY, TX, VA, and WA.

As with the pay range variety that's based on the region of a country, specific offers are determined by various factors such as experience, education, skills, certifications and other business needs.
