We’re looking for an amazing Manager, Creative Production to fill this hybrid role which is based out of our Seattle, WA headquarters. In this critical role, you’ll be responsible for leading the production of innovative and engaging digital content across multiple channels, including web, social media, content marketing, display, and mobile. This role will manage a team of multi-discipline creative professionals, ensuring that all projects align with business and marketing objectives while maintaining high standards of quality and creativity.

Here’s a summary of what Holland America Line is looking for in its Manager, Creative Production. Is this you?

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of creative professionals including designers, video producers, motion graphics artists, and other creative staff. Oversee the end-to-end creative production process, including resource allocation from concept development to final delivery, ensuring all projects are completed on time and within budget, maintain licensing and trademark compliance, and adhere to latest ADA compliance standards.

  • Develop and execute creative strategies that bring campaigns and promotions to life across various digital channels. Translate business and marketing objectives into compelling videos, motion graphics, and digital ads that are visually exciting, easy to understand, and emotionally engaging, while ensuring all content meets brand guidelines and quality standards.

  • Oversee the maintenance and organization of the company’s digital library and asset management systems.

  • Participate in update meetings share project status and obtain business and greater campaign/promotion updates.

  • Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment, encouraging team members to bring their best ideas forward. Work closely with creative services team, marketing leadership, and cross-functional stakeholders to conceptualize compelling creative solutions that work across a variety of formats and channels.

  • Update communication status across Asana and Proofing Tool.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Film, Communications and/or a related field required.

  • 5 years’ experience working as part of a creative team, ideally in a high functioning, agile, in house or agency environment.

  • 5 years’ experience graphic design,

  • 5 years’ experience motion graphics.

  • Strong understanding of usage rights, and adherence to licensing and trademark agreements, quality standards.

  • Experience administering and maintaining compliance to design best practices.

  • Proficiency in digital production tools and software, such as Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut Pro, or similar.

  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • A creative and strategic thinker with a passion for storytelling and a keen eye for detail.

  • Software skills required include Adobe CC Suite production package i.e., After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, XD, Final Cut Pro X, and Microsoft O365.

  • Knowledge of how to use web and social media to find sources and seek out and distribute content.

  • Strong conceptual abilities, sophisticated design sense with current and evolving sense of design.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience leading creative teams.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment .

  • Excellent prioritization and time management skills and can juggle multiple projects and priorities to deliver accurate, compelling creative under tight deadlines.

  • Ability to collaborate with partners in other functions to deliver compelling, brand-right creative on time and in keeping with the brief.

  • Good interpersonal and presentation skills with an ability to communicate clearly and concisely.

  • Exceptional attention to detail.

  • The ability to thrive independently or as part of a team.

  • Proven ability to remain calm under pressure and a sense of humor are big assets.

  • Strong knowledge of company products, travel industry and destinations, highly preferred.

  • Strong demonstrated analytical, reporting, and presentation skills, highly preferred.

  • Demonstrated success in motivating and supporting remote team members toward common goals, highly preferred.

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Holland America is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visas at this time (e.g., H-1B status).

Please note that this is a hybrid position based in our Seattle, WA headquarters. Candidates must be comfortable coming into the office 3 days/week (Tuesday-Thursday).

  • Base Salary Range: $89,600.00-$121,000.00. The range is applicable for the labor market where the role is intended to be hired. Final base salary is directly related to each candidates' qualifications and experience uniquely.
