They know and love working with business intelligence tools, can model multidimensional datasets, and can partner effectively with business leaders to answer key business questions. They are analytical and creative, and don’t quit. Key job responsibilities

• Manage and develop a team of Business Analysts.

• Lead a team to create actionable insights to answer business questions, drive decisions, and develop recommendations to improve operations.

• Define and drive our business intelligence and visualization strategy and roadmap.

• Present analysis and recommendations to senior leaders, using data-driven storytelling and influence to drive improvements in business operations and strategic change.

• Collaborate with product management, program management, and data science to design and develop information management capabilities.

• Lead the creation of key business metrics, drive the vision and building of automated dashboards and self-service analytic capabilities, and engineer data-driven processes that drive business value.

• Own the design, development, maintenance, and automation of ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, dashboards, etc. to drive key business decisions.

• Adopt best practices in reporting and analysis: data integrity, test design, analysis, validation, and documentation.

• Collaborate and partner with stakeholders to understand, anticipate, and respond to current and future information needs.

Basic Qualifications

  • 7+ years of business intelligence and analytics experience

  • 5+ years of delivering results managing a business intelligence or analytics team, including employee development and performance management experience

  • Experience with SQL and ETL

  • Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience collaborating and writing requirements/user stories for engineering teams

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $114,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $212,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
