Overview:

We are seeking a qualified individual to join our team as a Maintenance Supervisor. This multifaceted role involves overseeing the parts storeroom, contributing to the purchasing process, and acting as a supervisor for maintenance activities. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing the flow of parts and ensuring efficient inventory levels. Proficiency in SAP is essential for this position, as the candidate will be responsible for inputting purchase requests, managing parts inventory, and entering work orders. Responsibilities:

Parts Management:

  • Manage the parts storeroom, ensuring organized storage and easy accessibility of parts.

  • Utilize SAP to input purchase requests accurately and in a timely manner.

  • Receive parts physically and update SAP records accordingly.

  • Monitor and establish optimal parts inventory levels to support operational needs.

  • Source parts and tools as needed for maintenance activities.

Maintenance Supervision:

  • Provide supervision to maintenance crews, assisting in planning and directing daily activities.

  • Enter work orders into SAP, ensuring work orders accuracy.

  • Collaborate with maintenance teams to plan preventative and predictive maintenance.

  • Assist in sourcing and procuring necessary equipment and tools for maintenance projects.

Purchasing and Administration:

  • Ensure timely and accurate receipt of invoices for purchased parts and forward them for payment.

  • Maintain SAP parts inventory, keeping records up to date.

  • Collaborate with the purchasing team to optimize the procurement process.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in parts management, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.

  • Strong proficiency in SAP for purchase requests, parts inventory management, and work order processing.

  • Previous experience in a maintenance supervision role is highly desirable.

  • Knowledge of inventory control principles and practices.

  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for coordinating with maintenance crews and external suppliers.

  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

  • Familiarity with preventative and predictive maintenance planning.

  • Detail oriented with a focus on accuracy in recordkeeping and data entry.

  • Salary Range: $85,000 - $95,000 per year
