Choose 1st shift 5 am-3:30 pm $23 per hour or 2nd shift 3 pm-1:30 am $23.50 per hour

What’s a typical day as a Machine Operator?:

• Attend and participate in daily pre-shift huddles on time

• Receive and hand-off shift with peers

• Retrieve necessary set up/start up information/specifications/guidelines

• Retrieve necessary materials to perform tasks referring to Manufacturing Work Order

• Verify Item/Material and Lot numbers to be used according to the Manufacturing Work Order

• Complete equipment changeover/set-up processes minimizing equipment

•. Safely, efficiently, and effectively operate assigned production equipment

• Troubleshoot, solve and/or escalate issues that may arise during the shift

• Pre-plan next task before completion of current task

• Ensure specification deviations are reported

• Create/Submit Work requests for equipment/processes that can be improved or need attention

• Communicate Food Safety, Quality, and/or Workplace Safety issues/concerns to Management

• Understand and Adhere to all PPE requirements and ensure PPE is clean and in good repair

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Have a HSD or GED

• Can lift 50 pounds repeatedly

• Possess a strong focus on quality and attention to detail

• Have effective task/time management organizational skills

• Have prior machine operation experience and knowledge

• Have prior experience with GMP's (Good Manufacturing Practices)

• Work effectively with a strong work ethic and close attention to detail in a fast-paced dynamic team environment

• Can accurately complete production documents and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs)
