Key Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional machine learning engineering experience.

• 5+ years leading teams that design and deliver complex ML engineering and science projects.

• Strong experience leading cross-functional initiatives with a tangible impact on the direction of product.

• Strong organizational skills and experience working with large, diverse teams

• Strong ML fundamentals and hands-on experience with building ML systems.

• Excellent written and verbal communications skills.

Description

Our AML Data Science team in IS&T is a group of passionate applied ML scientists from various disciplines with extensive track records in both academia and industry. We work on many high impact projects that serve various Apple lines of business. We are at the forefront of using advanced machine learning techniques and mathematical models to tackle impactful business problems. We continuously innovate and are constantly pushing the envelope. The Applied Machine Learning Data Science team is a unique combination of ML techniques, algorithms, as well as real world business solutions that will impact billions of devices in the world. Education & Experience

MS or PhD in Computer Science (or equivalent experience).

• At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $174,000.00 and $301,000.00, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
