Amazon Litigation Paralegal in Seattle, Washington
Description
Amazon is seeking a litigation paralegal to help coordinate and support ongoing litigation, labor and employment, regulatory, and compliance matters handled by the Legal Department.
Responsibilities will include a wide range of tasks, such as internal fact investigation for current cases, document and deposition discovery support, interviewing internal witnesses, investigating and coordinating responses to demand letters, subpoena requests, and pre-dispute communications, coordinating and scheduling outside counsel, and participating in witness preparation.
The job will also require project management experience, specifically to support case preparation activities, litigation discovery, Amazon's company-wide compliance efforts, document retention programs, and Legal Department information management efforts. Domestic travel for small claim hearing.

Basic Qualifications
Experience with litigation case management, operations, finance or a complex administrative role
Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and SharePoint
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and/or Paralegal certificate is preferred
Excellent organizational skills and strong problem solving skills
Desire and aptitude to learn new concepts, programs, and software on the job
Ability to work independently with little guidance in a constantly changing and sometimes ambiguous environment
Experience with ACT, Serengeti, Quip, iManage or similar systems
Creativity, attention to detail, commitment to customer service, and excellent communication and writing skills
A passion for technology and innovation

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $47,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $102,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
