The Legal Operations Specialist will report directly to the Director of Legal Operations with cross-functional stakeholders across the legal team. This role offers the opportunity to innovate with and support multiple functions across the Legal Department. The Specialist will be responsible for 4 main workstreams: analyzing legal data & reporting on legal metrics, including reports from data that will be used for board and committee reporting, providing litigation and IP dispute resolution support, supporting eDiscovery activities, and supporting and enhancing the data privacy review process. This role requires a collaborative problem-solver who can anticipate challenges, explore issues, and cultivate creative solutions within our team! Duties & Responsibilities Develop and implement data analytics strategies to support the legal department's reporting needs Collect, analyze, and interpret data from multiple sources to generate insights for CLO, board, and committee reporting Assist in litigation and disputes by capturing and reviewing documents, coordinating and streamlining document productions, providing data-driven analysis and visualizations Support investigations by gathering, analyzing, and dashboarding relevant data, leveraging a consistent reporting model where possible Track and report on Intellectual Property (IP) data to support the Innovation team with it's management and protection goals Analyze and report on relevant data to enable the Data Privacy team with its goals to manage and promote compliance with data privacy regulations Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver tailored solutions Stay up-to-date with the latest data analytics tools and techniques to optimize processes and improve efficiency Assist with eDiscovery by identifying, collecting, and processing electronically stored information (ESI) Maintain up-to-date docketing and reporting for IP, product creation, licensing, social media takedowns, brand misuse, and dispute resolution for quality management and audit purposes.
