The company was founded in 1833 by JohnMcKessonand Charles Olcott in New York with a focus on importing and wholesaling pharmaceutical products.This position is for a hands-on Lead Infrastructure Engineer that will lead the development of Infrastructure resources and services using Infrastructure as Code (IaC), the IaC platforms, cloud-based technologies and various scripting languages. These resources and services will provide strategic integrations between internal and external systems. This lead engineer will design, develop, and deliver solutions and services to meet internal and external business needs. This engineer will demonstrate strong technical leadership through direct rapid prototyping and iterative development to deliver scalable, high-performance services into production. This engineer will be responsible for quickly assessing the scope and need from business inputs, establishing MVP (Minimal Viable Product) design, and finally hands-on coding and delivery of scalable solutions and services into production.Provide technical leadership to the business acting as a consultant when and where needed to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Provide technical direction on one or more projects. Provide hands-on development of architectural and engineering artifacts. Provide technical leadership to peers and team to aide in the growth of all individuals. Analyze business requirement specifications from customers and internal departments to create the necessary architectural artifacts needed to successfully build and implement next generation capabilities. Work with Service owners and/or take responsibility over roadmap development and on-going maintenance of the roadmap to ensure capabilities are maintained and kept in alignment with company and industry best practicesImplement and test solutions or services designs to the defined specifications ensuring they meet all requirements and are aligned to the needs of the business and the customerPartners closely with application development and support teams to support consistency in delivery including requirements collection for workloads and cloud-based enablement. (e.g roadmap development for data strategies.)Partners closely with Security and ISRM to deliver highly secure solutions that meet enterprise compliance controls.Partners with multiple tech and business focused departments to drive cross functional initiatives related to proper onboarding of cloud and use cases, as well as migration strategies.Minimum Job Qualifications:Education/Training -Degree or equivalent experienceHigh level IT CertificationsBusiness Experience -10 years of relevant experience in IT infrastructure, cloud delivery, and architecture development.3 years with active leadership and participation in cloud adoption and product migrations.Experience interpreting non-functional requirements andSLAs to support services architecture.Demonstratable experience in exerting influenceand alignment with multiple business and technical teams.
