As the Lead, Special Supply Chain Programs within Amazon Fresh Grocery, you'll take on a critical role
building processes and mechanisms for our Culinary and Transformation programs. Your focus will be on Perishable products across Amazon's Culinary and Fresh Bakery programs, as you interface with Supply Chain Managers and Operations partners across both Online and In-Store channels.
To be successful in this role, you should feel comfortable using data to influence others and building scalable systems and processes to allow us our business to grow. Strong candidates will have knowledge from manufacturing or production environments, and transformation of raw materials to finished goods. The ideal candidate is able to lead and influence both internal and external teams in an ambiguous environment while maintaining a customer-centric philosophy.
Key job responsibilities
A successful Lead, Supply Chain Programs will:
Develop mechanisms to manage inventory availability and inventory health including: improved instock, inventory planning, vendor operational improvement (efficiency, fill rates, lead time), forecasting, and waste reduction
Partner with internal teams to develop tools, automation, and process improvements that affect production and inventory management workflows
Drive cross-functional strategic initiatives to improve customer experience and overall cost structure of the business
Perform complex business analysis to identify business opportunities to improve revenue and profitability
A day in the life
As a Lead, Special Supply Chain Programs, you will lead a small team of PMs to deploy mechanisms and reporting focused on Culinary and Transformation excellence. This will include partnership with Operations teams to understand how they manage inventory counts and production schedules to ensure product availability at each store or fulfillment center. You will be responsible for developing and deploying the tooling, KPIs, and processes to run these programs in a manner that ensures customers have fresh product available whenever shopping at Amazon Fresh.

Basic Qualifications
5+ years of with Excel experience
Bachelor's degree, or 5+ years of professional or military experience
Experience working with complex data sets
Experience communicating results to senior leadership
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of statistics or other analytical techniques
Experience with SQL
Experience working in a production environment, transforming raw materials to finished goods

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $109,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
