WSP USA Lead Scheduler in Seattle, Washington

This Opportunity

WSP is looking for a Lead Scheduler to join our Project Controls team in Seattle.

Your Impact:

Job Duties:

  • Lead the scheduling effort for the entire WSBLE program, direct and oversee the work of a scheduling team and be responsible for the quality and accuracy of their work.

  • Report to the Project Controls Lead.

  • In Phase 1 the Lead Scheduler will develop and implement a scheduling standard and procedure for the project that as a minimum meets Sound Transit’s internal standards. Improvements and refinements to client’s standard can be suggested.

  • Help produce Schedule Specifications to be used in WSBLE construction contracts.

  • Work with various consultants and contractors who produce schedules to ensure that their schedules meet client requirements and provide the information needed to manage the program effectively.

Who You Are

Minimum Requirements:

  • 12 years of experience in construction scheduling, including at least ten (10) years of scheduling experience on major projects exceeding $1 billion in construction cost. Experience as a scheduler for a major contractor would be an advantage.

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

  • Expert-level ability in using Primavera 6 (P6) software and interrogating P6 schedules to derive critical project schedule information.

  • Familiarity with the use of “time-chainage” schedules for presentation and planning purposes.

  • Proven experience in developing, maintaining and managing project-wide integrated schedules using information from designers, contractors and other sources.

  • Proven ability to oversee and manage the work of a team of schedulers.

  • Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.

  • A relevant professional qualification is preferred.

  • Persons in important team leadership roles, or possessing specialized technical skills, and who are likely to accumulate significant bodies of project knowledge over time, the loss of which would be detrimental to the program.

Expected Salary: $197,400-240,200
