Providence St. Joseph Health Lead Medical Office Representative - Breast Care Center in Seattle, Washington

Description This role will lead a team of up to four (4) Front Office Staff under the direction of the Center Manager The Lead Medical Office Representative serves two purposes: First, is to cover the classification of employee responsible for independently coordinating and performing moderately complex and specialized clinic operational duties. The duties may include, but are not limited to, the department and patient scheduling and coordination of patient appointments with other services as required, obtaining patient information and insurance coverage; answering and triaging incoming phone calls; as well as various office management duties such as assembling, processing mail and deliveries, maintain supplies, updating medical records, maintain office procedures and policies, equipment and orient new employees. Second, this classification serves as a description for those positions responsible for organizing the workflow of the front office duties and specialized administrative tasks. These incumbents may be required to function in the position assigned to carry out the essential functions below, act as a main resource to the organization for these functions, evaluate the work of individuals in lower classifications, and make recommendations to clinic management regarding hiring, evaluation, and termination of these employees without additional reviews, and perform specialized clinic administrative duties as assigned by clinic management or managing clinicians. These incumbents may be required to travel to other related locations and departments to fulfill the purposes of the role and its responsibilities.
