Hyatt Laundry Supervisor ($27.70/hour) in SEATTLE, Washington

Description:

Join us for an incredible opportunity to be a part of our Laundry Team leadership as a Laundry Supervisor at the Grand Hyatt Seattle!

The Laundry Supervisor is responsible for the supervision of the laundry department, reporting to the Executive Housekeeper & Laundry Manager. This position helps to oversee laundry production, inventory, ordering and machine maintenance. In addition, this position includes all supervision of laundry employees and general office duties. Previous supervisory and laundry experience preferred. This position may require driving on behalf of the laundry team.

The hourly rate for this position ranges from $27.70/hour to $28.25/hour. The starting rate for this position is $27.70/hour. This position also has an established rate for colleagues who have remained in the position for four years or more, which is $28.25/hour.

  • Full-Time Colleagues:

Qualifications:

  • A true desire to satisfy the needs of others

  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to include evenings, holidays and weekends

  • Ability to lift, pull, and push a moderate weight

  • Prior experience in hotel laundry preferred

  • Ability to stand for long periods of time and walk moderate distances

  • Valid Driver's License with ability and experience to drive professionally on behalf of Laundry team preferred
