AHBL Landscape Designer in Seattle, Washington

AHBL is a multidisciplinary firm offering services in civil and structural engineering, planning, landscape architecture, and land surveying to public and private clients alike. Through innovative planning, design, and engineering, we improve our communities and build collaborative partnerships one project at a time. We seek a landscape designer ready to match our can-do energy and attitude to be involved in our work on a wide range of landscape architecture projects based out of our Seattle office. WHAT WILL YOU DO In this role, you will work in a collaborative environment with internal and external design teams to develop conceptual, schematic, and construction documents for public and private sector projects. You will be an essential team member who assists with projects from early planning through design and final construction. Project types include mixed-use, affordable housing, K-12 schools, parks and recreation, and community-based projects. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's or master's degree in landscape architecture from an accredited university 2+ years of experience working collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary firm Experience working on a variety of tasks on multiple projects Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Rhino, Lumion, Grasshopper and Sketchup Exceptional communication with hand-drawn and computer-generated graphics skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Portfolio that demonstrates strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS Working knowledge of LandFX, Civil 3D, and Revit COMPENSATION The salary range for this position depends on which of our internal company levels the selected candidate aligns with. This position could be filled by candidates at either a Landscape Designer II or Landscape Designer III level. The hiring team will determine which level is most appropriate for each candidate based on their relevant background and experience. The actual pay range is based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. Ranges are based on a 40-hour work week. Landscape Designer II - $63,000 - $76,488 per year Landscape Designer III - $70,000 - $83,144 per year Annual discretionary performance-based bonus BENEFITS 100% paid employee medical, dental, vision, prescription coverage, life insurance, life and AD&D, and long-term disability.
