Osborn Consulting is an integrated civil engineering, landscape architecture, and urban design firm of approximately 100 people based in four offices - Seattle, Bellevue, Bellingham, and Spokane. Since 2004, Osborn has successfully delivered innovative projects for our clients, including local cities, counties, ports, tribal communities, school districts, neighborhood groups, as well as federal government agencies. In 2019, the well-respected landscape architectural firm Cascade Design Collaborative joined Osborn bringing with it decades of project experience in the Pacific Northwest. Osborn is unique in our focus on publicly-owned projects - nearly 100% of our projects are publicly funded through local, regional, and state agencies and therefore directly benefitting our local communities. Our Landscape Architecture and Urban Design (LAUD) practice works on a variety of projects with a focus on educational environments, parks, streetscapes, urban design, and green stormwater infrastructure design. We are particularly known for our commitment to designing great schools and open spaces for people of all ages and abilities. This position is for an experienced Landscape Architect Project Manager based out of our Seattle office. About the Role Our new team member must be well-organized, thorough, and collaborative, with excellent verbal and writing skills, and the ability to multi-task. In this role, we'll count on you to: Manage landscape architectural projects in all sectors of our work including education, parks, urban design, and restoration. Collaborate with our internal team as well as our clients and co-consultant design teams such as architects, planners, engineers. Bring your passion, knowledge, and design abilities to the table to create amazing places. Must Haves Bachelors (BLA) or Masters (MLA) degree from an accredited Landscape Architecture program. Landscape Architect licensure and continuing education in areas of the industry. Washington State licensure is preferred, but we can help you obtain a reciprocal or additional license. 10+ years of experience in a landscape architectural office with similar work. Strong landscape architectural design skills at various scales (site, planting, irrigation, detailing) from planning through construction. Project management experience including all phases of projects, scheduling, managing budgets, coordinating with clients and design consultants, understanding project permit requirements, and producing drawing/specification/cost estimate packages. Experience with multiple project delivery methods desired. Successful built projects and construction administration expertise. Solid computer software skills in AutoCAD/Civil 3d, Sketchup, and Adobe Creative Suite, Land F/X, Revit, Rhino, and other industry software. Software training is available. Strong graphic skills and the ability to guide others in the development of graphic deliverables. Excellent communication skills, spoken and in writing.
