Our growth requires leaders who operate both strategically and tactically: think big to drive new opportunities; dive deep in data to uncover customer insights; break down and solve complex problems; and drive operational excellence.The Kindle Sales and Marketing team is seeking a customer-obsessed Kindle CA and MX Sales and Marketing Leader to own and drive sales and marketing strategies that deliver Kindle category growth. You will be the business owner for multiple Kindle products. You will collaborate with a cross-functional team including product development, engagement, demand planning, in-stock, offline retail, finance, merchandising, and advertising teams to develop and execute a multi-year plan to grow the Kindle business. In this role you will have an opportunity to work on a global scale through a broad array of challenges: help customers discover our latest devices; drive the launch of new programs; develop channel-specific sales strategies; test and implement new demand generation levers; drive product sales; build new playbooks, all of which will help deliver device sales; and enhance customer engagement and satisfaction. This is a high visibility role that will work on a broad array of business challenges and have frequent opportunities to interact with and present to senior leadership.Key responsibilities:* Lead Kindle CA and MX sales and marketing, spanning the end-to-end product life cycle, from new product launches to post-launch demand generation.* Drive demand generation; run and develop new initiatives and programs for selling Kindle devices on Amazon.com and in offline partners.* Define and deliver a best-in-class marketing program, write business requirements, and partner with the merchandising team on implementation.* Conduct business and financial analysis; be fluent in speaking to and analyzing profit and loss statement drivers, including forecasting, monitoring, and reporting.* Serve as a key influencer in developing and auditing business strategy, contributing significantly to business operations, customer engagement and analytics, and financial planning.* Support business and financial planning by developing, standardizing, and maintaining business critical metrics (input and output) analysis and reporting.* Lead cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time.* Role is global in nature will work with teams in other markets.* Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Marketing or Engineering* 5+ years of relevant work experience in consumer marketing, product marketing and/or digital/high-technology consumer companies/products* Experience with MS Office: Word and ExcelAmazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
