nVent Management Company Key Account Manager - Data Server Rail & Home Appliance Rail in Seattle, Washington

WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION: Work closely with Server System Integrator customers, CSP, Data Center, Hyperscale, and Home Appliance customers to understand server rack slides & rail technical challenges & business goals and propose nVent solutions. Compile and build detailed business and technical proposals in response to Data Server Rail and Home Appliance Rail opportunities and RFQ proposals. Provide strong sales leadership, support, account management & direction for key account customers. Establish working relationships with global customer service, design engineering, quality, and production teams to support account management needs. Orchestrate and synchronize business development initiatives and worldwide account management by collaborating closely with regional account managers and other business development team members across the company. Identify, map, and maintain deep and positive relationships with key influencers ranging from engineering personnel, product managers, procurement, and executive supporters within key customer organizations. Recommend new product offerings and identify new opportunities for nVent by supervising and reporting the voice-of-customer to the product marketing team, tracking competitors, and developing a driven response of actions. YOU HAVE: A bachelor's degree is helpful or applicable sales experience will be considered. Ideally 10+ years of experience in sales and business development with a focus on technical product solutions, particularly in the data center space. Ability to work 100% remotely from a home office and travel 15% of the time nationally on average. While we will consider any US location for the home office base, our preference is WA, CA, or TX. Ability to discuss product design and improvement internally and externally. Proven success in establishing strong connections with large, key enterprise clients, resulting in significant project wins and increased sales growth. Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills focused on building and maintaining strong relationships with customers and partners. Excellent time management and organization, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
