*In this position you will: *
- Support 4th and 5th Grade ELA Reading via whole-class support, small group tutoring, and one-on-one tutoring at Dearborn Park International Elementary School (2820 S Orcas St, Seattle, WA 98108)
- Assist teachers and other school staff with group instruction, classroom activities, and special projects
- Build valuable leadership, collaboration, and communication skills
- Develop professional relationships with faculty, staff, and TIPS administration
- Receive paid training on Race & Equity in Education, Culturally Responsive Teaching, Student Engagement & Management, creating Inclusive & Welcoming School Environments, Social Emotional Learning strategies, and more!
- Get paid $23/hour
- Accrue paid sick leave
Schedule:
- Start Date: September 18th, 2024
- Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays: 10:20am - 2:20pm, Wednesdays: 10:10am - 2:10pm
- 20 hours a week
