ManpowerGroup Jr. Support Engineer in Seattle, Washington

Title: Jr. AWS Support Engineer

Location: Seattle, WA

Duration: 12+ months contract

Pay Range: $50-$55/hr

We are looking for a “Jr. Support Engineer” to join one of our Fortune 500 clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Modify, maintain, and validate business related configurations (such as catalog, ordering, billing, notifications, tax, payments, accounting, finance) to satisfy business requirements.

  • Communicate with partner teams to ensure country specific configuration are in place and working.

  • Develop tools and automate manual operational tasks and easy maintenance of our services.

  • Read and understand complex application code and make code fixes to resolve support issues.

  • Able to deliver software independently when needed.

  • Software deployment support in staging and production environments.

  • Build monitoring metrics dashboard, and report System health and Support status metrics.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of software development, or 4+ years of technical support experience

  • Experience scripting in modern program languages

  • Experience troubleshooting and debugging technical systems

  • Preferred qualifications

  • Knowledge of web services, distributed systems, and web application development

  • Experience troubleshooting & maintaining hardware & software RAID

  • Experience with REST web services, XML, JSON

  • Working knowledge of AWS products and technologies (EC2, S3, Lambda, Docker, etc.)
