Volt is immediately hiring for an ITSM Specialist in Seattle, WA.

As an ITSM Specialist you will:

  • Lead the Disaster Recovery Program Office, ensuring compliance with disaster recovery standards
  • Champion disaster recovery and IT crisis management processes
  • Align recovery efforts and drive effective strategies to build IT operational resiliency across all systems.
  • Execute yearly exercises and event response
  • Provide data analysis and risk assessment

This is a full-time opportunity.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • Minimum of 4 to 6 years of relevant Information Technology experience.
  • Experience in disaster recovery, business continuity or crisis management.
  • Proficiency understanding of backup systems (e.g., Commvault, or similar).
  • Understanding of backup schedules, retention policies, and data deduplication.
  • Knowledge of disaster recovery methodologies and best practices.
  • Experience creating, maintaining, and testing disaster recovery plans.
  • Familiarity with conducting tabletop exercises and full-scale recovery tests.
  • Understanding of high availability (HA) concepts and technologies (e.g., clustering, load balancing).
  • Ability to review and assess viability of designs and implement ations of failover solutions for critical systems.
  • Proficient understanding of IT Service Management.

Pay Rate: $50.00-62.50/hour

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
