Volt is immediately hiring for an ITSM Specialist in Seattle, WA.
As an ITSM Specialist you will:
- Lead the Disaster Recovery Program Office, ensuring compliance with disaster recovery standards
- Champion disaster recovery and IT crisis management processes
- Align recovery efforts and drive effective strategies to build IT operational resiliency across all systems.
- Execute yearly exercises and event response
- Provide data analysis and risk assessment
This is a full-time opportunity.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
- Minimum of 4 to 6 years of relevant Information Technology experience.
- Experience in disaster recovery, business continuity or crisis management.
- Proficiency understanding of backup systems (e.g., Commvault, or similar).
- Understanding of backup schedules, retention policies, and data deduplication.
- Knowledge of disaster recovery methodologies and best practices.
- Experience creating, maintaining, and testing disaster recovery plans.
- Familiarity with conducting tabletop exercises and full-scale recovery tests.
- Understanding of high availability (HA) concepts and technologies (e.g., clustering, load balancing).
- Ability to review and assess viability of designs and implement ations of failover solutions for critical systems.
- Proficient understanding of IT Service Management.
Pay Rate: $50.00-62.50/hour
