DKS is in search of an experienced and driven IT Manager to oversee our Information Technology department. This position will collaborate with senior management to develop and execute an IT strategy aligned with the organization's goals and objectives. They'll identify opportunities for technology innovation and propose solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, exceptional leadership skills, and a strategic mindset to oversee and optimize our organization's IT systems, infrastructure, and operations.

What will you be doing?

Infrastructure Management:

  • Manage information technology systems.
  • Plan, organize, control, and evaluate IT and electronic data operations.
  • Select, validate, implement, and manage cloud-based systems.
  • Collaborate closely with an external managed services provider (MSP) to effectively oversee companywide systems, ensuring uninterrupted service across all office locations.
  • Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the organization's IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, data storage and hardware.
  • Ensure data security, network access, and backup systems.
  • Ensure the reliability, security, and scalability of IT systems to meet business requirements.
  • Plan and implement infrastructure upgrades and expansions as required.

Systems and Applications:

  • Manage the deployment, maintenance, and upgrades of software applications used across the organization.
  • Ensure proper integration and compatibility of systems to optimize workflow and data sharing.
  • Manage and maintain company's Gmail system.

Security and Compliance:

  • Design, develop, implement, and enforce IT security policies, procedures, and practices to safeguard against unauthorized access, data breaches, cyber threats and compliance with industry standards.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and compliance regulations to ensure the organization's adherence to relevant standards.

Budgeting and Resource Management:

  • Collaborate with Regional Managers and CFO to develop and manage IT budget and ensure cost-effective technology solutions.

Vendor and Stakeholder Management:

  • Establish and manage relationships with MSP and 3rd party IT service providers.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand IT needs and align technology solutions accordingly.

Troubleshooting and Support:

  • Audit systems and assess their outcomes.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to resolve complex technical issues escalated from internal stakeholders or the MSP.
  • Ensure that the MSP is held responsible for promptly addressing and resolving end-user support requests, aiming to reduce disruptions to a minimum.

Reporting and Documentation:

Prepare and present regular reports to the CFO on IT performance, project(s) status and annual budget.

Maintain proper documentation for IT systems and processes in line with NIST standards.
