Robert Half IT Auditor in Seattle, Washington

Description

We are looking for an IT Auditor to join our team in Seattle, Washington. This role focuses on the service industry, where you will be responsible for understanding and implementing IT audit methodologies, maintaining internal control frameworks, and staying updated with the latest trends in data and technology.

Responsibilities:

• Develop IT audit deliverables including process flows, work programs, audit reports, and control summaries.

• Understand and apply internal control frameworks such as COBIT, ISO 27001, NIST CSF, CIS, ITIL, etc.

• Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley Act provisions, particularly the technology implications and requirements.

• Stay updated with the latest trends and developments in data and technology, including cybersecurity, cloud, data governance, privacy, analytics, enterprise applications (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Workday, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics etc.), disaster recovery, systems development methodologies etc.

• Utilize technology enablement strategies such as automation, AI/ML etc.

• Evaluate, summarize, organize, and interpret data for business use.

• Establish and cultivate business relationships and a professional network.

• Communicate technology topics and audit issues effectively to client personnel, including executives.

• Supervise teams including mentoring, oversight and review of work, coordination across teams, and understanding how to motivate.

• Document findings and summarize recommendations.

The salary range for this position is $85,000 to $128,000 + bonus.

Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Experience in formulating and executing Audit Programs

• Familiarity with CobiT framework

• Knowledge of DCAA compliance requirements

• Understanding of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning systems

• Ability to manage Accounting Functions

• Proven track record of effectively communicating Audit Findings

• Experience in conducting Auditing

• Skill in developing Audit Plans

• Ability to prepare comprehensive Audit Reports
