About Us: The Lynden International Operations team manages international air export and import, as well as domestic ocean services for offshore markets including Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Alaska, and Guam. Our team handles customer service, daily freight movement, and documentation activities.

Key Responsibilities:

- - Coordinate daily freight movements, including routing to meet customer requirements.

``` - - Provide quotes to internal and external customers both domestic and internationally

``` - - Arrange pickups and transfers to ensure cut-off times are met.

``` - - Process shipping documents and make manual entries in multiple systems.

``` - - Track shipments and provide updates to all parties.

``` - - Perform all aspects of customer service and carrier relations, including negotiating rates and services.

``` - - Manage vendor and carrier relationships to maintain quality service.

``` - - Ensure regulatory compliance for import and export, including AES filing.

``` - - Handle Customs Business, such as Customs Bonds and Importer Security Filing.

``` - - Create and maintain client SOPs.

``` - - Analyze customer requirements and ensure internal processes meet or exceed them.

``` - - Troubleshoot issues and prioritize work based on cargo movement and service levels.

``` - - Work with government agencies and customs authorities to resolve issues.

``` - - Analyze the market to ensure competitive rates and profitability.

``` - - Ensure accurate invoicing of customers and submit approved invoices for payment.

``` - - Occasional overtime and possible on-call scheduling for weekends.

Qualifications:

- - High school diploma and 2 years of international freight experience.

``` - - Strong written and verbal communication skills.

```{=html}

``` - - Ability to calculate freight rates and handle basic mathematical functions.

``` - - Good reasoning ability and the capacity to make quick decisions independently.

``` - - Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, OneNote, Teams, and Outlook.
