Responsibilities
Here's what you'll be doing:
This role involves investigating insurance benefits, submitting authorizations, verifying insurance coverage, compiling medical charts, assisting in evaluation of documentation, and ensuring accuracy of forms and reports, among other administrative tasks in a healthcare setting.
Verify insurance benefits and eligibility for new referrals, including monthly verification for Medicaid and weekly for capitated Hospice patients.
Assist in evaluating patient documentation to determine coverage eligibility for therapy, ensuring accuracy and completeness of forms and reports.
Obtain pre-authorizations as required, track patient financial assistance applications, and ensure compliance with Medicare Part D eligibility and drug formularies.
