City: Seattle Location: 1161 - Recology King County - Operations Subsidiary Name: Recology CleanScapes You can GROW with Us by becoming our Industrial Painter ROLE Responsible for painting containers in safe and effective operating conditions. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES OF - INDUSTRIAL PAINTER Rebuilds containers that require removal and replacement; paints and decals the new containers Prepares surfaces for painting by using sandpaper, brushes, steel wool and wiping clean with solvent. Schedules, maintains, services and repairs of equipment and containers used to recycle, dispose, and haul industrial commercial and residential waste Perform daily inventories. Provides systematic safety inspections of containers to establish standards. Performs yard clean-up and maintenance. May operate forklift and other yard equipment as required. Safely disposing of chemical waste. Utilizing special safety equipment such as painting goggles, respirators, etc. Performs all duties in a safe manner and in compliance with the established protocols. Other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities is qualifying.
