Position Summary: The Identity & Access Services Engineer works collaboratively with colleagues and peers across IT, Security, and Development to determine the necessary strategies required to move MedInsight's technology forward. This role proposes initiatives, projects and technological solutions to meet those strategies and plays a prominent function in implementing and integrating authorization and authentication within the MedInsight platforms. This role also devises solutions to eliminate operational issues and repetitive tasks. The Identity & Access Services Engineer is an individual contributor with deep knowledge in the areas of infrastructure (cloud and on-premise) identity technologies. The Identity & Access Services Engineer will report to the Senior Cloud Platform Manager. Position Responsibilities Developing and implementing IAM systems using industry best practices and standards, such as SSO, OAuth, SAML, SCIM, LDAP, etc. Collaborating with other engineers and stakeholders to understand the business requirements and provide IAM solutions that meet the user needs and expectations. Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to IAM systems, such as identity provisioning, authentication, authorization, auditing, etc. Ensuring the designed solutions comply with security policies and regulations. Managing, maintaining, and documenting various IAM technologies and tools, such as Active Directory, Entra, Okta, Ping, Duo, etc. Enforcing compliance with IAM principles including least privilege access, password management, audit logging. Engage with and influence the key stakeholders and internal teams to ensure compliance, security and operational functional requirements are met or exceeded. Design, deploy, and maintain IAM Solution. Track work either in ticket-based or project-defined systems, making regular updates of progress. Determines recurring escalations; develops a plan to reduce recurring escalations to Infrastructure team. Leads and facilitates technical discussions to various levels of colleagues and leaders to educate and share knowledge collaboratively and transparently. Manage Duo administrators, administrative groups, and applications. Provides high levels of customer service as it pertains to solutions and incident resolution. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field. The ideal candidate must have minimum 5 years of experience designing, building, implementing, integrating and maintaining IAM and configuration management technologies in a hybrid cloud environment. The ideal candidate must have minimum 3 years' experience in IAM technologies specific to Entra, Okta, Ping, or other IAM technologies.
