Job Description

The ICG Credit Administration Manger will partner and collaborate closely with the Head of ICG Credit Administration and various internal stakeholders, including Portfolio Management, Relationship Management, Credit Risk Management, Credit Risk Administration, and Audit. They will represent ICG’s business needs on nCino and other Bank systems by partnering with the Sales, Credit and Servicing Center of Excellence (CoE) to prioritize platform enhancements, drive end user adoption, and improve data quality. They will balance the bank’s risk tolerance, credit culture, and regulatory expectations with initiatives to simplify and streamline underwriting procedures and credit policy. They may develop and/or support projects related to bank systems, credit policy, and compliance.

In this role, you will support U.S. Bank’s Institutional Client Group (ICG) through:

• Partnering closely with the business line, subject matter experts, data managers, and technology teams to participate in nCino design sessions to implement solutions, enhancements, and upgrades; understanding not only the business need but also the technology need.

• Understand and prioritize business line requirements to assist the COE in developing enhancements to benefit the user base and improve data analytics.

• Actively work with portfolio managers to reinforce nCino training, resolve issues, and identify opportunities for improvement and efficiency.

• Develop and/or improve of processes for optimized efficiency and effective portfolio management.

• Identify gaps or other issues and provide recommendations for proposed credit policy or procedure revisions to appropriately enhance the policy framework while ensuring continued strong risk management.

• Assess the impact of potential credit policy changes through research and analysis of credit data and trends related to policy risk topics.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to propose and execute credit policy changes.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience

• Eight or more years of banking experience

Preferred Skills

• Strong knowledge and proficient in nCino.

• Strong collaboration, credit policy knowledge, and attention to detail.

• Solid business acumen and credibility to help portfolio management proactively identify and address risks.

• Strong process facilitation and project management skills.

• Excellent presentation, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.

• Effective relationship building and negotiation skills

The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $129,455.00 - $152,300.00 - $167,530.00
