A VERY WELL-KNOWN ECOMMERCE COMPANY BASED OUT OF SEATTLE IS HIRING FOR AN HR GENERALIST TO JOIN THEIR SEATTLE TEAM!

DETAILS:

Job Title: HR Generalist

Duration: Contract

Location: Seattle, WA

Schedule: HYBRID - Onsite at least Tues-Thurs

DESCRIPTION:

The HR Partners HRPs are known for their knowledge of HR programs processes and tools. They act as the frontline consultant to people managers in creating a positive employee experience offering consistent HR advice on people matters. They operate and are seen as subject matter experts having sound knowledge in company and local programs processes and policies offering a strong and compelling point of view around HR related matters thus building credibility. They are committed to collaboration with multiple HR Business Partners HR specialists and people managers across various business lines.

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Designs and administers human resources policies and procedures that cover two or more functional areas. Collects and analyzes HR data, and then makes recommendations to management. Oversees and establishes procedures for paperwork completion for functional area. Prepares internal employee communications regarding compensation, benefits, or company policies. Requires a bachelor's degree in a related area and at least 8 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. May lead and direct the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.

SKILLS:

HR Generalist, HR Certificate, Employee Relations Manager, SHRM-CP or PHR, HRBP, HR Specialist, Employee Relations, Coaching, Performance Management

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • At least 5 years experience – bachelors degree

  • Will prioritize Certification – PHR or SHRM-CP

  • Best: Excellent judgement- have to listen manager, employees and apply HR judgement

  • Current HR professional caused risk due to the lack of judgement

  • Experience with Coaching, Performance Management, and Employee Relations
