Does that sound like you? The Opportunity with McKinstry We are currently seeking a Human Resources Operations Director to join our team as a member of our growing HR team in Seattle, WA. As the HR Operations Director, you'll be a strategic leader overseeing the development, implementation and optimization of a variety of HR operational processes and systems, within several key areas that may include; Benefits, People Relations Partners, Pre-Employment & Onboarding, HRIS, & Compliance, as well as HR operational excellence. In addition, you'll be the liaison between HR & our Payroll Team to ensure a strong partnership & alignment. This role includes leading cross functional projects, as well as the day-to-day responsibilities of the HR operations Department. Supports the Sr. Director of People Experience & Operations in the evolution of the HR Operations department from individual functions to a shared People Operations platform with employee experience and business success top of mind. You're great at: Business and Systems Analyst Integrate established strategic philosophies for the company into current human resources programs and practices. Recommend design and oversee the implementation of wage and salary and benefits programs. Effectively manages annual compensation program. Establish and manage an external resource network (vendors, consulting firms, database, etc.) to benchmark and improve internal practices and results through innovation and out-of-the-box critical thinking. Stay current on legislative updates affecting human resources, including wage and hour regulations, ERISA, DOL, IRS, OFCCP, HHS nationally and for all states in which McKinstry has employees and/or does business. Acts to incorporate changes into human resources programs and practices. Effectively partner with business leaders at all levels of the company to design, recommend and implement changes to human resources policies and practices. Ensure human resources processes are practical, scalable and effectively support effective business results. This may include business processes as well as automated systems. Identify, analyze and report on human resources trends that impact the success of McKinstry. Develop and manage budgets as needed. People Management Selects, develops, coaches and manages high performing team. Communicates performance expectations and provides performance feedback and evaluations. Recommends professional training for current employees. Provides assistance with career planning and creating career goals. Regularly communicate, formally and informally company goals, policies, plans and priorities. Act as steward of McKinstry culture; communicate and influence policies and procedures. What You Need to Succeed at McKinstry Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Management or related degree or equivalent wok experience required. PHR/SPHR or equivalent experience required. Ten (10) years of experience in Human Resources required. Working knowledge of Federal, state and local Employment law required Experience in Compensation and Benefits management required. Experience with HRIS
