Description We are in search of a Human Resources (HR) Assistant to join our team based in Seattle, Washington. In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting various HR functions, including payroll, onboarding, and benefits, using platforms such as ADP Workforce Now. This role offers a short-term contract employment opportunity and is perfect for a candidate who thrives in a dynamic work environment and is adept in handling hiring processes.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize ADP Workforce Now for various HR operations, ensuring accurate and timely execution.

• Manage hiring processes, coordinating with respective departments to ensure smooth onboarding of new employees.

• Handle payroll operations, ensuring each employee is paid accurately and on schedule.

• Assist in executing benefit functions, helping employees understand their benefits and resolving any related queries.

• Maintain and update employee records, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with legal requirements.

• Collaborate with other HR team members to develop efficient procedures and policies.

• Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing tasks as needed.

• Respond to internal and external HR related inquiries or requests and provide assistance.

• Maintain records of personnel-related data in both paper and the database and ensure all employment requirements are met.

• Perform other duties as assigned by the HR manager. Requirements • Proven experience in a Human Resources role or similar

• Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now software

• Knowledge of benefit functions including health insurance, retirement plans, and employee assistance programs

• Familiarity with hiring processes including screening, interviewing, and selecting candidates

• Experience with onboarding new employees and facilitating their integration into the company environment

• Understanding of payroll processes and systems

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field would be advantageous.
