Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle, Washington is looking for an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) to join our growing team.

We are a busy practice of nine Hematologists/Medical Oncologists and one ARNP who are part of a multi-specialty hospital-based group. We are seeking an additional ARNP to round out our practice in the Downtown Seattle location and primarily work with our patients in the hospital.

Responsibilities

  • Inpatient rounding and first call for new inpatient consults. The first call responsibility will be during daytime work hours.

  • Some outpatient responsibilities may be required

Practice Highlights

  • Extensive program of multidisciplinary cancer conferences – including Breast, Thoracic, GI, Hepatobiliary, Urologic, Prostate and Dermatology/Sarcoma

  • VM is the longest-running accredited Academic Commission on Cancer (CoC) program in the Western United States

  • The cancer program oversees 2800 analytic cancer cases per year, plus an additional 20% non-analytic cases

Qualifications

  • Washington State Registered Nurse License and an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner License are required for this job

  • Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) and National Provider Identifier (NPI) numbers, as well as prescriptive authority

  • ARNP with inpatient Oncology experience preferred

  • BLS required

Pay Range

$61.53 - $77.23 /hour
