At Heat Deloitte Digital, creative planners help build and set the communication strategy for marketing campaigns. We've organized our planning group around three central pillars: brand strategy, content strategy and channel strategy. As the leading Brand Strategist you'll be

You love brands of every shape and size: consumer brands, internal brands, employer brands and personal brands. You know that a brand is more than just a logo and a tagline; a brand is the holistic culmination of every interaction and touchpoint. You know how to find market opportunity in crowded spaces. A Heat Seattle, we believe that everything is branding, to the brand strategist is kinda a big deal.

Work you'll do

  • Break down brands into their core values and articulate their value propositions

  • Use audience personas and market research to inform brand positioning

  • Oversee market research and social listening for current brand perception

  • Distill data into actionable audience insights

  • Develop brand guidelines and collaborate with designers on the visual execution of the brand

  • Collaborate with the Associate Creative Director on writing

  • Design and help execute brand marketing campaigns

  • Inform measurement strategies for brand KPIs

  • Cultivate relationships across the Deloitte network to identify opportunities to sell in brand strategy work to some of Deloitte's biggest clients

  • Contribute to overall Studio growth & culture



  • Bachelor's Degree in marketing, communications or similar field of study

  • 5 - 8 years' experience working in advertising, marketing, branding or other creative agencies; in-house brand management experience will also be considered

  • Knowledge of frameworks for brand building and brand revitalization

  • Experience responding to RFPs and nurturing business development prospects

  • Highly comfortable presenting work and pitching new business opportunities

  • Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize multiple clients and strategic initiatives

  • Ability to receive constructive feedback and develop skills in junior staff

  • Flexibility and adaptability required


  • Familiarity with the principles of design thinking

  • Experience managing a team, inspiring others and helping them navigate an ever-changing industry

  • Cultivate an internal and external thought leadership platform on why branding matters

  • Willingness to travel up to 40%
