Your Impact as a Health Solutions Vice President, Account Executive - Mid/Small Market (Aon Local Advantage) - Hybrid Seattle Aon Local Advantage (ALA) is Aon's approach to the smaller employer segment. The typical client size is employers with 101-500 employees. In this market segment, clients are predominantly fully-insured; however, we also support alternatively funded, and self-funded clients through the ALA team. This role may also flex into supporting non-complex clients in the mid-market segment (501-3,000) This position will work closely with the ALA Account Executive team as well support resources such as Consultants, Analysts and Financial Manager. This position will have frequent interactions with the client Human Resource/Benefit Director for the delivery of health benefits consulting services. Responsibilities include managing complex consulting projects, proactive project management, frequent vendor interface, developing client reports, leading external meetings and internal resource coordination. Additionally, the Health Solutions Account Executive has responsibilities for revenue growth while identifying client needs for other consulting services. Job Responsibilities: Primary responsibilities of this position to include: In partnership with the new business producers, present Aon's ALA to prospective clients and deliver targeted revenue growth for the small market segment by expansion of Health Solutions' offering to new and existing clients. In partnership with Local Practice Leader, presents to prospective clients in finalist meetings. Grow the client relationship through excellent service and expanding the types of services delivered to the client. Manage ongoing client relationship and internal consulting team service & client communications. Work closely with Consultant, Analyst and/or Financial Manager to manage account including: project management; Summary Plan Descriptions and contract compliance; analysis of utilization reports, carrier reports, and claims data & trends; contract review and benefit comparisons; prepare open enrollment meeting materials and conduct select meetings with employees; manage client open items list and respond to client requests and ad-hoc reporting requests as needed. Perform vendor management, including carrier follow-up, problem resolution, negotiations, etc. Conducts meetings, monitor, and execute deliverables and accountabilities based on project scope and statement of work. Works individually or with other support resources to finalize projects. Articulate findings to clients, and work with them in a consultative manner. Resolves client issues at appropriate levels and informs other team members of pertinent issues. RFP review & preparation. Communicate and support clients with Aon compliance resources with all ERISA, State and Federal requirements. Takes ownership of work and is accountable for its completion and accuracy; can problem solve and make effective decisions. Works well with carriers, managing their responses for timeliness and accuracy, and building relationships. Possess a strong understanding of the health and group benefits and participates as needed on task forces and special project teams. Form effective teams, share client background and goals, measure results, share ideas, identify process improvements, provide timely and regular coaching and feedback to team members. Oversee vendor negotiations and provide technical coaching to other team members. Act as strategic resource for junior colleagues. Exhibit thought leadership-understand and be able to articulate ideas to clients.
