The Amazon Web Services (AWS) Infrastructure Supply Chain and Procurement team is responsible for the end-to-end supply chain delivery of capacity to AWS Data Centers.Our AWS Infrastructure Supply Chain and Procurement team is looking for a results-oriented leader to manage and lead the team responsible for the operational support, performance management, supplier development, and lifecycle management of key AWS compute and networking self-build products. In this role you will lead internal engagements across Supply Chain, Engineering and Business organizations while diving deep into the technologies and operations both from a product and Supply Chain perspective. You will work closely with Strategic Sourcing, Product operations, Hardware engineering, Tooling Engineering, Manufacturing Design Engineering, DFx, Test Engineering and other cross-functional teams to develop. You will analyze trends involving the industry players - vendors, customers, and technology to develop strategies to secure supply, reduce cost, minimize risk, and utilize emerging opportunities, allowing AWS to meet and exceed its goals.Main responsibilities1. Own development of the strategic relationship with our manufacturing and sub tier components partners including negotiating commercial agreements, negotiating cost, optimizing the collaboration between the teams and developing long term strategy to grow a robust partnership.2. Own Operations Management activities with our Networking and Compute ODM partners to include Order/Change Management, Supply Demand (Supplier commit), commit to plan analysis & reconciliation, business process operations/tools, logistics, Cost/Price Negotiation, Risk Management, Corporate Social Responsibility and Capacity Planning, and allocation to Servers Manufacturing partners.3.
