For more information, visit Purpose The Global Head of Government Relations reports to the Senior Group Director Corporate Affairs who is based in Melbourne Australia. They will develop and implement Government Relations plans, advocacy and engagement providing counsel and insights to the business on political and public policy matters relevant to Worley. Proactively identify, anticipate, monitor, and manage government related opportunities and risks. The Global Head of Government Relations will also assist the Senior Group Director in determining and developing an aligned global government relations function across Worley with priority given to maximum focus countries. Based in any Worley location, with flexible work options WFH/Remote/Hybrid. Responsibilities Developing government relations strategies in key maximum focus countries to position Worley as a leading authority on the energy transition Identify, develop and implement strategies to effectively manage policy and regulatory risk Undertake government and stakeholder engagement ensuring that Worley is building the right relationships across all appropriate tiers of government, as well as building capability across senior leaders and coordinating their engagement with government as appropriate Ensure reputational risk is identified, escalated, and managed in line with Worley\'s business objectives to build license to operate Prepare meeting briefs, issues papers and policy overviews and political insights on matters relevant to our business and the industries in which we operate. Build relationships with government relations teams across key customers to drive and support shared outcomes Provide counsel to senior leaders on policy and political matters Manage and maintain Worley\'s government relations policy Coordinating government submissions and supporting funding/grant opportunities as appropriate Lead and coordinate Worley\'s engagement with key industry/trade associations to ensure Worley\'s is strategically positioned with stakeholders with direct influence on policy outcomes, risks and opportunities.
