AWS customers are looking for ways to change their business models and solve complex business challenges.AWS is seeking an experienced Head of Global MRC Growth & Operations, Planning, Analytics and Scale (GOPAS) to drive mid- to long- term growth in MRC to enhance our customer engagement and deliver non-linear growth of our input and output goals. This role will also support global MRC teams with operational excellence, building high performance teams to deliver against business goals through OPAS and enablement programs and support.Marketing Response Center (MRC) is an important customer engagement arm in the organization. Our primary focus is to learn from customers, understand their needs, and educate them about the benefits of AWS and all the services we offer, in order to help them embark on their cloud journey quickly and easily. It is a critical function within the lead and demand generation process, with the objective to profile, nurture, and qualify leads generated from various events, campaigns, and activities.The Head of Global MRC Growth & OPAS is strategic and yet hands-on, and will evangelize and act as single-threaded leader (STL) for various segments and business units such as worldwide Commercial Segment , worldwide Public Sector, worldwide Partner, worldwide Industry and Global Customer Acquisition teams to drive the customer engagement strategy, especially at the early stage of the customer cloud journey.As a team that values our people, the Global MRC team prioritizes enablement and career development efforts and see them as key to our success. This role will also own the development of enablement programs for our MRC Reps, OPAS, Team Leaders and Managers.This role will lead the team to evolve how we think about scaling our customer engagement globally as part of MRC's strategic vision to support business growth. By leading the GOPAS team, this role will be dedicated to developing and implementing MRC mid- to long-term strategies around:This role is located in Seattle. Relocation assistance to Seattle only from within the US.Key Responsibilities* Growing and expanding customer coverage with personalized and tailored engagement for SMB, enterprise and start-up customers;* Deepening our audience segment engagement by providing customer insights, Voice-of-Customer feedback mechanism to help develop in-depth and multi-faceted solutions to improve customer decision velocity on AWS;* Accelerating and enhancing our joint GTM and strategic programs with other AWS business units by aligning MRC resources in piloting industry vertical programs, partner packaged solution for SMBs, optimizing the Lead Management/Lead Scoring with and accelerating buyer's journey;* Building a consistent operational model and scale mechanisms across global MRC teams;* Working closely with key regional to achieve business goals.* Scaling MRC operation beyond adding headcount with technology and automation.* Travel: 30-50%, including international* Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or management information systems OR additional 4+ years of technology related experience in sales, business development, operations and/or marketing environment* 10+ years of technology related experience in sales, business development, operations and/or marketing environment* Proficiency utilizing Tableau and Salesforce for data analysis to inform business decisionsAmazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
