As part of a hardworking team of diverse specialists, technicians, and engineers, you will build, integrate, and operate the hardware environment we use for verifying the performance of avionics for various spaceight systems. This job will expose you to many different aspects of spaceight vehicles! You will share in the team's impact on all aspects of Hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) system development and operations. Duties include assembling HIL hardware, ordering and tracking materials, troubleshooting and repairing electronic assemblies, building cable assemblies, integrating avionics and ground support hardware into the HIL, supporting system testing, and updating HIL documentation and drawings. Qualifications: 2+ years of experience with aerospace avionics wire harnesses Good understanding of basic electronics Ability to interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, mechanical drawings, and written assembly procedures Procient in the use of basic electronic lab test equipment, such as power supplies and handheld multimeters Basic digital literacy and familiarity with Microsoft oce suite (Excel, Word, etc) Good written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills Strong analytical and organizational skills, attention-to-detail, and desire for continuous improvement Ability to thrive as a member of a team Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and strengthen our culture of inclusion Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
