Utilizing PitchBook's rich, expansive, and ever-evolving brand, this role offers the opportunity to develop engaging designs that are viewed by millions of clients each week. The Graphic Designer will focus on many different aspects of graphic design, including illustrations, photo manipulation, editorial-style layout, data graphics, presentations, and production for our diverse library of research reports. Primary Job Responsibilities: Act a steward of PitchBook's identity; successfully work within brand guidelines while capitalizing on the full breadth of creative possibilities Demonstrate a variety of aesthetic approaches across audiences and genres for custom projects Demonstrate technical command of tools and capacity to handle multiple projects across editorial (e.g. report production, newsletter illustrations, data visualizations, and design requests for internal teams and clients) Contribute to general improvement across report templates and processes with a focus on efficiencies Enhance data visualization efforts by developing fresh ideas that bring PitchBook's interactive data to life Participate in recurring internal design meetings with effective, constructive feedback on a variety of projects Work through creative challenges in collaboration with other designers Demonstrate successful cross-collaboration with other teams and departments; help guide creative strategies Innovate new types of products and projects in collaboration with research analysts and team leads Demonstrate an advanced understanding of private markets to help elevate informational storytelling Support the vision
