Our Optimization Services team, part of Commerce practice, connects brands and consumers across all channels. You’re a go-getter with strong (consumer product) sales skills and you’ve got lots of proven examples of growing brands at retail. You are an expert on Costco and understand how to deliver compelling products/services to their guests and can flex between strategy and execution. You enjoy helping others learn and passing your knowledge and expertise onto others.

You know how to build exceptional relationships and believe in being memorable. You are creative in your approach and never accept that something can’t be done.

The Job:

As Go-To-Market Lead, Costco, you will:

  • Lead all sales-related strategies and execution on behalf of our brand partners at Costco.

  • Responsible for leading team to achieve overall sales targets, KPIs and goals

  • Develop and spearhead the Costco multi-channel strategy and ensure maximum sales/profitability results, in partnership with the brand.

  • Provide outstanding communication and service as a liaison between Costco and our brands.

  • Plan and lead sales negotiations on behalf of our brand partners.

  • Coach our brand partners on thriving in a complex and ever-changing retail landscape.

  • Constantly challenge Costco with new initiatives + program opportunities that may typically fall outside of the norm.

  • Partner with Business Development team on growth initiatives and strategies

  • Explore complimentary partnerships + cross department opportunities to help drive incremental sales.

  • Lead, coach and develop your pod within the Sales team to deliver strong results

  • Ensure team is following best practices that drive consistencies and efficiencies

  • Collaborate with Operations Leadership to flawlessly execute for our brands.

  • Proactively leverage competitive market data to inform brand strategies and direction

  • Constantly analyze brand performance and provide action-oriented insights and recommendations

    Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10+ years’ experience in Sales experience growing partner brands at retail.

  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience in a Sales role working directly with Costco.

    Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of Costco data systems

  • Previous experience leading and managing a small team

  • Ability to develop and execute strategies focused on brand and organization growth

  • Demonstrated results of selling in and growing new brands, new programs, new items to Costco.

  • Willingness to travel (whenever we do that again)

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.

  • Strong business management and organizational skills

  • Strong relationship building ability

  • You are action and detail oriented.

  • You have an entrepreneurial spirit and think creatively

  • You thrive in ambiguous and uncharted territory and can navigate complex situations.

  • You are brand obsessed and know how to sell stories.

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Maryland, New York or Washington as set forth below.We accept applications on an on-going basis and there is no fixed deadline to apply.
