The Boeing Company is looking for a Global Operations Support - Flight Operations and Training Senior Manager to join our team in Seattle, WA . The Flight Operations and Training Senior Manager will be required to oversee a variety of work statements to include the enhancement of a pilot training program able to meet FAA, EASA and other regulatory requirements. Management duties for this role will include the execution of Boeing's Airline Operations Efficacy Program (AOEP) as well as other duties to include onboarding and training of all Flight Operations Representatives (FORs) required to support both AOEP and enhanced customer engagements. The Manager must have an understanding of Boeing offered training programs and the ability to partner with multiple internal Boeing organizations to execute the Global Engagement and Training mission.

This role will require travel both domestically and internationally.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute integrated departmental plans, policies and procedures and provides input on departmental business and technical strategies, goals, objectives

  • Acquire resources for department activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements

  • Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports

  • Provide oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes

This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Current FAA ATP or EASA ATPL or other international equivalent

  • Currently have or have an ability to obtain a Federal Aviation Association (FAA) or European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) First Class Medical certificate or international equivalent

  • Experience in operational management

  • Experience with cross divisional collaboration

  • International and transoceanic flight experience

  • 5+ years of experience leading or managing a team

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Current type rating in a Boeing aircraft

  • Experience producing and presenting presentations at the Executive level

  • Experience as an FAA Part 121 Airline manager or a Part 119 leader

  • 10+ years of experience leading or managing a team

  • Experience managing a complex budget

  • Master’s Degree
