WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION: This role will be responsible for developing, implementing, and leading a focused sales strategy for our Data Solutions business that aligns our Global Account team and independent Global Account Sales Reps. This role will own and drive the growth and margins for Data Solutions to leverage our capabilities and partnerships to provide end-to-end solutions for our large global customers. This individual is an authority passionate about driving cross-functional teams that build and drive winning strategies with our customers. Develops sales strategy globally, and strives to achieve revenue, profit, overall performance goals, and growth targets. Leads Global Account and Program Management teams, including performance management, hiring, talent development, and removing roadblocks. Drives team to meet and exceed sales objectives including total sales revenue, price targets, and market share growth objectives, and assures we have the necessary resources to attain our growth targets. Develops & drives the sales plan and provides regularly scheduled updates and forecasts for monthly, quarterly, and annual sales objectives and helps build presentations to present our capabilities and communicate our marketing message with customers. Drives sales coverage and penetration expansion through validated selling strategies and skills and advises business development in conjunction with product management to target customers or in vertical markets. Supports the strategic sales process including specification to customer agreements, project management of OEMs, and sales and service requirements. Ensures customer satisfaction levels are met throughout the organization. Actively participates, contributes, and deploys Sales Excellence programs across the Global Accounts team. Remains abreast of industry and market trends and benchmarks against premiere organizations to ensure continuous improvement. Maintains a pulse on the competitive landscape and advocates for innovation based on customer needs that help drive new products. Set pricing levels that improve margin and achieve targeted margin expectations. Review margins by account with program management to make sure we are maintaining expected margins by project. Understand when we are below plan and work cross-functionally to get a strategy in place to assure we are on track, while also maintaining a positive relationship with the customer. Work with legal to review contracts and ensure quotes reflect the terms of these contracts. Prepare DOA documents for larger quotes, orders, or legal contracts and ensure appropriate parties are signing off. YOU HAVE: Bachelor's degree is required Ideally, 5+ years of sales leadership experience leading global teams or 3rd party partnerships. Ideally, 10+ years of global OEM/ODM sales experience handling major accounts in the Data Center & Networking Solutions ( ICT ) vertical. Ability to adapt to rapidly changing business circumstances and have the ability to thrive in a constantly changing business environment. Availability to travel 40-50% of the time on average and work 100% remotely from a home office if needed. While we have this posted nationally in multiple locations, we will only be making 1 hire.
