The Global Account Director, assigned to one of Pinkerton's largest global clients, will provide proactive strategic and operational direction while ensuring the delivery of high-quality customer service and innovative risk management programs. The Director provides global account leadership, identifies and implements industry best practices, and continuously seeks solutions to measure and improve overall performance. Essential Functions:

  1. Represent Pinkerton's core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
  2. Serve as a key point of contact to ensure the delivery of high-quality customer service for assigned account.
  3. Evaluate service quality and initiate communications and/or corrective action in a timely manner.
  4. Develop and recommend innovative programs and initiatives to meet or exceed the client's expectations.
  5. Initiate, coordinate, and assume responsibility for benchmarking and the identification of cost saving practices throughout the account.
  6. Identify and utilize networking opportunities with Stakeholder and Pinkerton locations throughout United States, Latin America, Europe, and Asia in support the client's global programs.
  7. Partner with site management and corporate support departments to standardize processes and service delivery for the account and implement security industry best practices.
  8. Implement key performance measures, tracking tools, scorecards, and reporting methods to enhance security team effectiveness and performance.
  9. Meet regularly with the client to review the account, address any actual or potential problems, assist in the preparation of RFP responses, and negotiate contracts.
  10. Provide support during the client's start-ups and transitions including security planning, assessments, and surveys.
  11. Review and update global and local post orders and ensure contract compliance throughout the entire portfolio.
  12. Provide global management oversight for the recruitment, selection, orientation, training, development, and retention of high caliber staff.
  13. Plan, assign, and direct work, provide performance feedback, coach associates, and complete disciplinary actions, as necessary.
  14. Provide direct leadership of the senior leadership team supporting the client's security programs.
  15. Participate in the client's strategic budget preparation for services and security system deployments.
  16. Maintain a positive, professional environment in full compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.
  17. Ensure staff members understand and comply with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.
  18. Review appropriate expenditures, within the scope of contract and assigned duties, including equipment, supplies, and vehicles.
  19. Ensure invoices are correct, delivered, and paid in a timely manner.
  20. Assign appropriate staffing levels in collaboration with area management and ensures scheduling is managed effectively to meet client requirements while controlling labor costs.
  21. Provide input to company initiatives.
  22. Promptly assist in the resolution of legal, financial, human resources, and administrative issues.
  23. Build and facilitate teamwork, partnerships, and the implementation of progressive change.
  24. Assist the client in the evaluation of global security needs and determine feasibility of delivery of requested or desired services.
  25. Develop global service network for client locations and establish strong relationships with alliance partners.
  26. Coordinate, monitor, and evaluate global service delivery and develop global best practices.
