UW Medical Center - Montlake has an outstanding opportunity for a FOOD SERVICE WORKER .

WORK SCHEDULE

  • 100% FTE, Days

  • 6:00 am-2:30 pm POSITION HIGHLIGHTS

  • Load patient trays in designated delivery unit cart. Set timer and record tray ticket number on the log sheet

  • Transport meal carts and retrieve empty cart to and from nursing units.

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Set up timers, tray location log and hand gel

  • Load trays to Ambassador Carts

  • Work closely with the Expeditor to ensure that trays are not missing any items

  • Follow Ambassadors assigned units delivery and time schedule

  • Transport meal carts to the designated Ambassador unit and retrieve emptycart down in the kitchen

  • Call and communicate with the Ambassador to confirm pick up or delivery.

  • Work closely with the Expeditor in the assembly line to ensure tray accuracy and for prompt delivery

  • Load patient trays in designated carts, filling in tray location log sheets with the room number, printed time and time of the tray in the cart

  • Continuously load and transport meal carts to Ambassador units. Call Ambassador to confirm cart is

  • Set up 7N snack cart. REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
