Harborview - Food and Nutriton has an outstanding opportunity for a FOOD SERVICE WORKER position.

WORK SCHEDULE

  • 12:00 pm- 8:30pm

  • 40 hours per week, variable days POSITION HIGHLIGHTS

  • Will perform a variety of duties including preparing and serving food, maintaining sanitary conditions of kitchen facilities, and serving food on cafeteria line. PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Washes, peels, cuts up vegetables and fruits; opens canned goods

  • Transports food, supplies, and equipment to and from kitchen, dining areas, storerooms, and refrigerators

  • Serves food individually or from steam tables and carts; loads and clears steam tables and carts

  • Stocks work areas, including nursing unit pantries, practices First In First Out (FIFO) methods to minimize waste REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

  • Possession of, or eligible for, a food handler's permit.
