As the Fluids Instrumentation and Routed Systems Manager you will lead a cross functional team responsible for 3 key functions of the Fluids and Propulsion Team, reporting directly to the Fluids Prop Integrated Product Team Manager 1.Technical Design - CAD 2. Electrical Instrumentation - pressure transducers, temperature transducers, heaters, etc. 3. Structural Design and Analysis. Your team will be comprised of engineers with expertise in these 3 areas. This position will support all aspects of product and team management to include accountability and oversight of schedule, risk management, and personnel management of a team responsible for hardware design, specification, and integration. We will work with other teams outside the Fluids IPT to connect your team members with functional teams to implement best practices, mentoring and career development of your team members. Responsibilities include but are not limited to B.S. degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, or related fields 5+ years of experience managing projects/programs including managing priorities, scope, schedule, integration and cost. Outstanding listener Effective in leading people with variety of technical expertise Experience in cross functional integration Able to estimate, plan, schedule and track work Effective working across organizational boundaries and employing influential leadership Experience in leading complex highly integrated products Conversational in fluids and propulsion system technical details Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment while regularly providing imaginative and detailed solutions to complex problems Excellent verbal, written, and graphical communication skills Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum. Preferred Qualifications M.S. in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical subject area Expertise in CAD work, drawings, knowledge of ASME Y14.5 geometric dimensioning and tolerance Expertise with cryogenic sensors, launch vehicle or spacecraft instrumentation Expertise with structural design and analysis in aerospace applications Inclusivity Statement Don't meet all desired requirements?
