Details: A Flight Test Service Engineer position is currently available at Belcan Engineering working onsite to support GE Engine/Boeing Aircraft production. This is a full time, direct job with full benefits. Great matching candidates will have strong background in aircraft engine maintenance procedures. You will be working with Belcan, GE and Boeing management & technical teams . Flight Test Service Engineer job duties: *Disassemble, inspect, evaluate, and accomplish necessary GE engine repairs as directed. Coordinate work according to engineering instructions, technical manuals, and technical directives to determine what repairs, modifications and parts replacements are required *Ensure all maintenance is performed in accordance with the appropriate documentation * Overall responsibility for preventing GE caused disruptions within the Boeing production process * Supervise, inspect and sign-off on assigned work performed on GE engines within the Boeing production system * Assist with production parts logistics, in coordination with the logistics manager and the onsite GE team, for parts ordering, configuration, scrapping & repair Core Qualifications: *Five + years' experience with gas turbine and aircraft maintenance procedures *Knowledgeable of aircraft maintenance procedures, FAR 25 certification requirements pertinent to turbo fans, engine performance, digital engine control, and engine operability * Airframe & Powerplant certification strongly desired * AS or BS in Engineering desired *Candidates must be either a US citizen or green card holder. Additional Desired Abilities: *Ability to develop an efficient working relationship with customer personnel and respond quickly and accurately to their questions/actions. *Excellent organizational and verbal & written communication skills. *Ability to accurately and compliantly work to procedures (FTSIs, FEIs AMM and ESM tasks). *Ability to produce reports (maintenance completion and issue findings) that are clear, detailed but concise, accurate, and in a timely fashion. *Ability to supervise mechanics performing work on the engines.
