Volunteer work helps build critical competencies; knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. To qualify at the ZS-5 or GS-09 level:
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:Applicants must possess one full year (52 weeks) of specialized experience equivalent to theZS-4 or GS-08in the Federal service. Specialized experience MUST include all of the following: Utilizing financial systems to review, analyze and ensure proper completion of documents and transactions;
Maintaining a program or project budget to ensure operations are completed within budget; and
Providing assistance in identifying and resolving and/or reconciling accounting discrepancies.
