Description
We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity for a Financial Reporting Manager in Seattle, Washington. This remote role lies within the finance industry and involves managing interactions with third party auditors, overseeing audit work, and preparing end of year financial statements. The workplace is flexible with a remote option available.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee audit workflow and ensure all processes stay on track
• Manage higher-level questions and concerns related to auditing
• Prepare year-end financial statements that are subject to audits
• Handle full footnote disclosures as required by GAAP
• Work closely with General Ledger teams to gather necessary information for financial statement disclosures
• Determine what information needs to be disclosed and manage the accumulation of this disclosure
• Write, build out and present property plant disclosures
• Use accounting software systems, EPS, and Workiva for various tasks
• Conduct internal financial reporting and auditing tasks
• Prepare footnote disclosures and ensure their accuracy.
Requirements • Proven experience in the use of Accounting Software Systems.
• Proficiency in Earnings Per Share (EPS) calculations and related matters.
• Demonstrated ability in conducting thorough Auditing procedures.
• Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in Financial Reporting.
• Strong ability in Internal Financial Reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Experience with Workiva software is highly desirable.
• Ability to prepare and manage Footnote Disclosures in financial statements.
• Experience in Footnote Preparation, ensuring all relevant information is clearly conveyed.
